As a complete contrast to yesterday's large hotel, the vast majority of hotels in old Quebec City are small like this one which looks like it is in what had been an old house. Cute isn't it?

I absolutely agree. That little hotel is charming. It's so much more appealing to stay somewhere that feels like a cozy old house rather than a huge, modern complex.
The hotel is cute. We stayed in a similar hotel in London for a few days. It was nice enough but to get our room, we had to walk upstairs, then downstairs, then up stairs again.
I would much rather stay on one of these small hotels than the large impersonal one you showed yesterday.
