When one exits Philosopher's Walk through the Bennett gates this is your view directly to the west. This is the main building of Trinity College, one of the colleges that make up U of T. The college was founded in 1851 but this building was constructed in 1925. So many great details.

Beautiful architecture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful building. Is there cold?
ReplyDeleteVery stately.
ReplyDeleteThat building is gorgeous! The kind they don't build any longer.
ReplyDeleteImpressive building!
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.
...a beautiful building, built for eternity.
ReplyDeleteThis building looks like a traditional university building from an earlier century. You have received more than an education with your photos from the U. of T.

It feels like stepping from the quiet of Philosopher’s Walk straight into a chapter of architectural history
ReplyDeleteDreaming that you might tutor here :-)
ReplyDeleteOne gets "humble" seeing this. Would I want to study there, RedPat, it looks scaring a bit...
ReplyDeleteSo solid and academic
ReplyDeleteIt's a steadfast door and lovely building!
