It was good to see this sign installed by Heritage Toronto in the Annex out front of one of the apartment buildings that Uno Prii had designed. He designed over 250 buildings around the world with many of them in the Annex neighbourhood. You can click the Uno Prii label below to see some that I have posted in the past.

What a nice recognition. I scrolled through the photos and I have to say I love all those buildings. He was a creative architect.
ReplyDelete...I went to Wikipedia, he had quite a career!

ReplyDeleteA nice historical marker dedicated to Uno Prii
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic tribute to such an influential architect! It’s amazing to think about the impact one person can have on the "soul" of a neighborhood like the Annex. Heritage Toronto did a great job with that sign, it’s so important to recognize the creators behind the buildings we walk past every day. I’ll definitely be clicking that label to see the others you’ve shared
