The centre of San Miguel De Allende is dominated by the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel which towers over the main square in town. Constructed of pink limestone it is beautiful inside and out. Out front of it is the main town square where everyone seems to gather at some point during the day just to sit or to try some of the ice cream being sold by vendors.

Thats really pink. Not usual for buildings.
