It is a dull time of year but it is also a good time to take pics of houses before the leaves come out on the trees. I like this pair of large semi-detached homes in the Annex neighbourhood. Each side is so different except for the large arched windows. I like the big porch on the right side but love the little turret on the left.

...dull days in early spring are the best time to photograph many things!
ReplyDeleteThe lack of foliage does have this sight advantage.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand looking place. I wonder if many years ago, this was a single home or if it was always two units.
ReplyDeleteThey were always 2 units. That was quite common in the Annex.
DeleteIt is a beautiful building, I would like the windows to match.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
I'd take a turret over a verandah ANY day! I'd be able to pretend I'm a wizard in my own little tower!
ReplyDeleteI like the architecture.
ReplyDeleteYes pretty soon you won't be able to see it and it will be glorious! Good anticipating

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI do like the turret!
ReplyDeleteThis is also a great time of year to see birds before they hide behind the leaves. That is a lovely red brick house with those Romanesque arches.
