Casa Loma Stables Towers

The stables for Casa Loma are located up the street from the main building and besides its regular entrance there is a secret tunnel that runs a couple of hundred feet underground! During tours of the Casa they take you through the tunnel but I have to admit to never having been in Casa Loma at all so have no inside pics! But if you look high up on the towers there is a wee creature lurking about - more tomorrow.

Love the towers. It's so castle like.

I like the towers too! ;-)

Isn't this fun. It would fit at Disney World.

Well, of COURSE the stables need to have towers, to give the horses something to...um, er, uh...look at, I guess!
I enlarged the photo but I think I'll have to wait until tomorrow to figure out the wee creature (I saw it, but don't know what it is or why it is lurking). Looking forward to it.

I've always liked Casa Loma, though it is getting a little run down. I wonder what will happen to it....
I also used to live just up the street from here and walking through the grounds and neighbouring streets almost every weekend.

A wee creature you say Red, I can't quite figure out what the wee beastie can be!! Excellent perspective on this very strange and interesting structure.
