The Duck Pond

 

One of my favourite places to wander when I have the time is around the duck pond at James Gardens. This shot was taken at the end of September on a very warm day and it is interesting that the ducks were all staying in the shade even when swimming in the pond. Smart birds.

    What a peaceful scene! The ducks staying in the shade while swimming is such an interesting observation—nature always finds its way to stay comfortable. James Gardens sounds like a lovely spot to visit.
