This wonderful Green Frog is probably safely buried in the mud at the bottom of its pond while we all wait for spring to arrive. It has been a cold winter here this year. Soon this frog can be sitting out in the sun again.

Some animals adapt by evading the cold while others’ bodies have adapted. For example: ducks who paddle about happily in brisk winds and deep cold.
