I finally saw a bit of colour in a tree last week when looking at this apple tree in someone's back garden. The colour change has been slow this year but I have seen a bit more since this shot. This one looks like it might be a vine growing on the tree that has turned red rather than the tree itself.

Lovely colors!
ReplyDeleteI love the splash of color. I have a friend in Illinois and she said the trees haven't turned there yet either.
ReplyDeleteOur yellows have changed, but the reds are slow.
ReplyDeleteOttawa and Toronto are so close yet in different climate zones. We are close to done.
ReplyDeleteIt creates an interesting effect. Thank you for sharing it. Red Pat
ReplyDeleteIt's a bright red. I don't remember apple trees having much red colouring.
ReplyDeleteQuite a wonderful looking symbiosis, RedPat!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful... you still have a lot of color ahead of you... I wish you sunshine.
ReplyDeleteThe red is pretty, we still see a lot of green here.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
Very pretty!
