I spotted this sign on a bus stop this week as I walked along in the freezing cold. Even in winter we should remember our bees and be aware of the threats they face.

I could not agree with this sign more. South Dakota is the second largest honey producing state, but the bees here pollinate many crops across the country, particularly almonds in California.
We'd starve without them!

ReplyDeleteIf there are human built bee hives, the bees should be ok over winter, but if not, I wonder where they spend the winter.
