During the intermission at Cirque Du Soleil this giant screen came down and hid the stage area a bit but those dark areas were not opaque so you could see movement behind as they set up for the next acts. The screen resembled the Mexican paper cutouts called papel picado that are found for decoration at festive times of the year.

Not your average screen.
ReplyDeleteWhat great detail in your photo showing the Mexican village scene. Google no longer sends me the photo sites I normally look at every day. If I miss a comment, I am sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful way to cover the staging area. It does look like those festive paper cutouts.

ReplyDeleteThat's rather lovely, much more interesting than a usual stage curtain.
ReplyDeleteIt does add to the excitement if you can see some behind the curtain activity.
