We had a cool morning a couple of weeks ago and I happened to be at the grocery store where there is a flock of about 20 pigeons who live around the parking lot. It was the first time I have ever seen them all down onto the asphalt trying to keep warm as it had been sunny earlier. There were pigeons hunkered down everywhere.

The season is changing rapidly to cooler fall weather. These pigeons are getting heat wherever they can find it. It will soon be much colder. Good catch.
