Changing Colour

I spotted this lovely tree this week. It seems that the trees which turn to yellow tones are changing first this year although I have seen a few scattered branches of red leaves.

I guess that is a tamarack and more advanced in the colour change than ours, which I find very surprising.

It seems local people will stay home and see their own leaves turn this year, rather than visiting New England states.
