Fruit in Kensington Market

This a typical fruit market in Kensington Market although this is a prime corner location. Taken early in the day in between periods of rain, this pic doesn't show the usual crowds in the area or how the merchandise spreads across the sidewalks on a sunny day. I'll be back to show you the weekend crowds one day!

  1. I heard about Kensington Market before, this is the kind of place I love to visit when I'm travelling!
Hope you show us more shots of this area. ;-)

  2. For sure, this photos gives a good idea of what the market is like without all the people. :))

  3. I've never seen it so empty of people!

  4. I love market shopping every now and again. I invested in a "trolley" a few years ago so I can get my fruit and veg there - works out much cheaper!

  5. I like markets like this, but they are actually more fun (and interesting photographically) when they are filled with people. We will see more of Kensington Market this summer, I predict.

  8. I've heard of Kensington Market, and can easily picture it bustling with activity. Our farm markets have yet to burst into full bloom here in Vancouver, but we're ready for them now that the weather's finally co-operating!
