The "Good Bike" Project

Two young women have been getting non-repairable bikes from the salvage dump and painting them up in neon colours, adding "Good Bike" lettering and then chaining them around the city in places that they feel are 'good'. So far there are about 50 of them sprinkled about as part of this urban art project. I found this one in front of the Tarragon Theatre. They do grab your attention and make you wonder "what good thing is here?"

  5. If all the colors are this bright, they certainly are eye-catching.

  6. They do grab your attention. Maybe it is a take on Martha Stewarts "Good Thing"

  10. What a great way to give an old bike a new purpose in life, no dump heap for these proud, colourful, once loved modes of transport!!
