Superb Balcony
Just a block over from yesterday's Annex house is this beautifully restored Victorian with probably the best balcony in the neighbourhood. Built in 1899 this house was up for sale this year at $2.5 million and at the time had interior pics posted on-line - just as gorgeous as you would expect. A wonderful den/library opens out onto that balcony - I'd love to sit up there with a book and a big pot of tea! I have no idea what 'Us Thus' refers to.
That is a wonderful balcony. I could handle sitting there drinking coffee in the morning.
ReplyDeleteNice find, chandelier and all!
ReplyDeleteI would never imagine it is a residential house, it's so well preserved!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many details in this house, this place is full of history. :)
Unique and very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow...
Thanks for sharing.
I will take the evening pass on the balcony with a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it looks like one I could easily live there. I like the mystery of the sign, too.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have the $2.5 million!
ReplyDeleteYou find some of the neatest places in Toronto, that's for sure.
What a beautiful place. I'm with Steffe, glass of wine and evening light.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a place. The roof even suggests an Asian influence.
ReplyDeleteI, too, could imagine sitting out there with a good book!
ReplyDeleteInteresting look.
ReplyDeleteWonder if 'Us Thus' just means 'Us Like This' or you know 'Us Here', sort of thing!!! It's a beautiful house whatever, well spotted Red..
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be drinking a martini up there tonight.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wish I could afford it. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! And the colours... Wow!
ReplyDeleteA balcony with a chandelier, wow.
