Railpath Train

Via is the major passenger train service in Canada and runs trains all across the country. As I was walking along the path this train came zooming along - I think this track would be connecting to the Windsor/Detroit route and into Union Station in downtown Toronto.

  2. It looks like a commuter train alright. It's not the Canadian (there'd be a baggage car behind the engine).

BTW, I'll be taking the Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver in the first week of October.

  3. I think it would be fun to ride the train cross country.

  4. I think you and Wayne are both right.
Oh, me and my baggage in Union Station and having to get on the subway. Sigh. But I got by with a little help from a friend. Traveling on The Canadian is like taking a cruise: we get to know one another while crossing the country.
Thanks for the photo of the train. I've been enjoying your railpath pictures but what I truly love is trains.
