Railpath Train
Via is the major passenger train service in Canada and runs trains all across the country. As I was walking along the path this train came zooming along - I think this track would be connecting to the Windsor/Detroit route and into Union Station in downtown Toronto.
Cool, we can see the flag!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, hope you take many shots! ;-)
It looks like a commuter train alright. It's not the Canadian (there'd be a baggage car behind the engine).
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'll be taking the Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver in the first week of October.
I am enjoying this walk!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be fun to ride the train cross country.
ReplyDeleteI think you and Wayne are both right.
ReplyDeleteOh, me and my baggage in Union Station and having to get on the subway. Sigh. But I got by with a little help from a friend. Traveling on The Canadian is like taking a cruise: we get to know one another while crossing the country.
Thanks for the photo of the train. I've been enjoying your railpath pictures but what I truly love is trains.
