It's Wednesday so it is time for a sign. The Hard Rock Cafe has to have one of the better known signs in the world since they seem to be everywhere! Ours is located at Yonge & Dundas which I think would be considered the centre of everything happening in the city - across from the Eaton Centre mall and beside Dundas Square which features many free outdoor concerts and events all year. I have always loved their red guitar!
Taking part in Signs, Signs. For more signs click here.
You're right, this logo is great. I love the red guitar too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have never been inside a Hard Rock Cafe, but the guitar is cool.
ReplyDeletehmm, word verification is helhole?!
Yes, a logo easily recognized!
ReplyDeleteHave you eaten there? We were in one in Key West some years back. It was so noisy and loud that we left never to return. I like the guitar, too!
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad story about the moose and their antlers.
Why isn't the plural of moose, mice?
:-)
Nice capture. You know, I've never been in one of those establishments even though I see them all over the world. Maybe the "Hard Rock" puts me off as I'd rather classical music...
ReplyDelete"Alll is one". Great and colorfull sign.
ReplyDeleteglobally recognized sign.
ReplyDeleteA very recognizable sign! I've seen many, but never went into one.
ReplyDeleteWhile it isn't my kind of music, I do like the guitar!
ReplyDeleteHard Rock... ok food... GREAT walls!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend once who did a lot of travelling - a lot - and collected a Hard Rock Cafe t-shirt from every city. Not surprising, but it was a male friend.
ReplyDeleteI think I picked up a T-shirt there once. I wonder what happened to that.
ReplyDeleteI've only been in one of these ... San Francisco I think. It was so long ago.
ReplyDeleteI like the guitar, and the building in the background that seems to wave.
I think you are right, there must be one in every town. Fun shot.
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a Hard Rock Cafe. I am such a goober!
ReplyDeleteEven though The Hard Rock is everywhere, I still love to visit them when on vacation. KC does not have a Hard Rock.
ReplyDeleteOver the years we have been to many Hard Rock Cafes around the world They are always great fun. Love their sign. It is very recognizable. genie
ReplyDeleteI love the Hard Rock!
ReplyDeleteI haven't eaten in one of these restaurants in years. I like the big red guitar, too!
ReplyDeleteSuch an icon.
ReplyDeleteYou are right. The guitar is soooo cool.
ReplyDeleteIs the 'World's Biggest Book Store' still around there somewhere? Last visited just before Christmas in 2005.
