Parkdale Bike Stands 5
This bike stand outside the Parkdale Library is perfect for its setting with the image of a lightbulb holding a book and a butterfly - no better place for ideas and fancies! As you can see we had a bit of snow when I took this pic last week!
There's a cool sense oh humour in this bike stand!
ReplyDeleteYou know, for me it's always fun to see snowy shots. ;-)
and ain't it great that the snow didn't stop this cyclist?!
ReplyDeleteAha! Now I see how those bike stands work. Pretty cool, and I aint talkin' 'bout the weather!
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that all over your city they have these very artistic stands. They so beat the boring plain ones.
ReplyDeleteI like this one alot! I'm not sure that butterflies typically like lightbulbs, but here it works. :)
ReplyDeleteCycling in the snow must have been interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love this one and yesterdays too.
ReplyDeleteWork has been so demanding lately I wish I had more of these lightbulbs or that they came to me quickert.
ReplyDeleteHope the cyclist was wrapped up well against the chill!
ReplyDeleteElenka is an artist. I shared this idea of bike racks with her. So cool
ReplyDeleteAnother very clever bike rack.
ReplyDeleteAs you say perfect for outside the library Red, someone had a 'lightbulb' moment!!
ReplyDeleteI see the light!
ReplyDeleteThese things just make me want to move to your City. So cool.
ReplyDeleteI love all those bike stands - I'm glad you're going around and photographing them for us, Pat!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a moth around a lightbulb?
You are a very smart individual!
