"Piggity Big"

This sculpture by David Hlynsky and Shirley Yanover  sits on College St at the Augusta St entrance to the Kensington Market area and is a complement to the one they installed at  the Spadina Ave entrance which I showed you here. It sits high atop a 20' pole surrounded by countless wires and traffic lights which tend to hide it a lot. I'm not sure of the significance of the name!

  5. I don't get the name, either, even though I like the sculpture. Maybe it refers to how all over the world people make pigs of themselves when eating? ;-)

  6. After they explain it to Paul in Powell River, would you mind getting in touch with me and passing on the explanation.

  10. I guess with all that happens in the world, every second of every day, the planet needs a 'sit down' every now and again!
