Modern Log House In PEI

Just a couple of more days of PEI shots and then I will be returning to pics of Toronto but first I wanted to show you this wonderful interior of a modern, open-concept, log house which I was lucky enough to stay in while visiting the island. The windows all look out on to the Northhumberland Strait and that upper perch in the left top corner even has a telescope but also comfy seating for reading. It's so nice to have good friends who invite you for a visit!!

  8. This house is absolutely outstanding, RedPat. I have seen many large and modern log homes and used to think that I wanted one for a vacation house. (The ceiling fan looks too small to do the job . . . need to upgrade it.)

  11. I am not sure I like the tiles on the floor. But the design of this house (at least from this room) is beautiful. I love the wood interior, it reminds me of a cozy chalet. I bet it's great in winter with a little fire to keep guests warm. :)
