The Hideout
This is the section of the wall above yesterday's cat artist. It is located on the back wall of a Queen St rock and roll bar called the Hideout and UB5000 was commissioned to paint a large mural along the side of the bar facing their patio. Somehow I like this whimsical assortment of creatures including the wee yellow birds but I will show you the more formal mural tomorrow.
I think the cat likes the birds too... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love those steam punk looking flying pirate ships. pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteCertainly brightens up a dull old wall!
ReplyDeleteI DO like the whimsy here. :)
ReplyDeleteA rather eclectic collection of messages and symbols.
ReplyDeleteThis works for a bar.
ReplyDeleteAnother fun one.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which I like better, this or the Cat, both are great.
ReplyDeleteI think UB5000 should have a trip to Perth and add to our collection of cool murals..it would be so exciting to come across these little yellow birds.
ReplyDeleteah, great energy.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how you really look at the art and don't notice the building at all.
There's a lot to see and admire, very dynamic!
ReplyDeleteI love the birds too but, that cat is so cute.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the birds again!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad UB5000 paints murals. He has a lot going on in his mind and we get the benefit of his artist thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThese Street Graffiti artists certainly have more taste than most of the ones I see here! Have a good day Red Pat!
ReplyDeleteHello, Mr. Hendrix!
