Toronto Court House
A summer Sunday morning shot of the Toronto Court House was taken back in July and it is such a treat to see the green trees and people in shorts! The Court House is located on University Ave and was designed by architects Marani Morris & Allan with construction finished in 1966. You can just see the top of our city hall peeking above the rounded structure which contains a court room and has a large open walkway on the ground level leading through to the city hall. I can hardly wait for summer!
Kathy Goes a Ramblin' has one posted today too. So different. Here come the judge!
ReplyDeleteAnd you found somenthing red. ;-)
ReplyDeleteY es leaves are a welcome sight, nice fountains too.
ReplyDeleteThis was built when brutalism was in vogue. The building has hints of that style but is much more appealing than many from that era.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive city structures. I try to avoid courthouses and city halls as well. But from what I've read about the weather up your way, I can understand your desire for greenery and people in shorts.
ReplyDeleteI was going to mention that we went biking in tee shirts and shorts this afternoon but I decided not to! :-)
Nice catch with the guy in red!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very attractive building! I love that fountain out in front.
ReplyDeleteThe summer will be with us soon enough!
ReplyDeleteIt truly is a treat to see the green, RedPat!
ReplyDeleteHold on Pat, spring will be with you before you know it!
