Another Sign Of Spring
We finally got a bit of sunny weather this week and the Narcissus have started popping open all over the city. With the cool spring we are having the flowers should last longer than normal, I hope. I captured these beauties on the hill leading up to Casa Loma.
These are such cheerful flowers.
ReplyDeleteA carpet of bright cheery flowers indeed!
ReplyDeleteyay for spring!
ReplyDeleteVery best season, gorgeous image Pat.. I find spring flowers so uplifting after a long winter.
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful (I miss them!). Love the little blue beauties 'carpeting' the ground as well.
ReplyDeleteI like the wee blue flowers, too. Hopefully, this flora will carpet the whole city as spring progresses and fades into summer. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAh nice, hope that means the snow is on the way out for you too.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best sign of spring !
ReplyDeletePopping up late this year over here too!
ReplyDeleteI think we are all glad that winter is over, but in Alabama we seem to ave jumped right to summer.
ReplyDeleteHurrah! Those are nice. I do like being in Florida when the weather up north is lousy, but one of the things I miss most is seeing the daffodils fighting their way through the soil to brighten up yards that so far need a lot of brightening.
ReplyDeleteColor me envious. Like Barbara, we missed spring entirely.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a beautiful sign it is.
ReplyDeleteNothing more cheering than a garden full of daffodils.
ReplyDeleteI hope they last longer than usual too! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Canada and N US are catching up with spring at last! It was a long cold winter for you guys! Pretty narcissus!
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely!
