Annex Turret
It's been a while since I posted one of the homes in the Annex which has a turret and this one was so nicely lit by the sun when I passed by that I couldn't resist. If I had one on my place, I'd fill the room with books and a nice pair of comfy chairs!
i love these old beauties!
ReplyDeleteYou can imagine the light flooding in from all those windows. Yep, an excellent place to read!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house, turret... and sky!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this one, books and a comfy place to sit is perfect for one of those high, round rooms.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful home...can't imagine having a turret but you have the right idea as to how to use one. Wonder what this house might cost?
ReplyDeleteLike a fairytale castle, let down your hair for the prince to climb up!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of your turret RedPat, also the idea of several windows in one room with an all round view!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely house!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful house. I have seen some in Hartford that have round turrets, but I think they are usually wider. This house would have a pretty small room in the turret. That might create an interestingly intimate space.
ReplyDeleteWonderful looking home.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason we call houses with turrets like these "Queen Anne" style. I've always wanted an aerie like this as a getaway space.
ReplyDeleteThe ideal use for a turret. Every home should have one.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of lining the walls with books and then sitting in a comfy chair to read by natural light.
ReplyDeleteGreat tower. It would be an ideal place to rest :))
ReplyDeleteA kiss.
And a writing desk.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a house! I love this style of architecture.
