Weiwei Rooster

The rooster is one of the most detailed of the Weiwei  zodiac heads at city hall and even though I was there early on a Sunday morning, there were a lot of people (& photographers) around, especially at this sunlit end of the pool.

    very cool! although it brought back memories of my mother having to chop off the chicken heads when we butchered them. eek!

    And a ferocious-looking rooster it is - the reason being there are no hens in sight! Probably? :)

    Isn't Weiwei just brilliant? I had the chance to see an amazing installation of his at the Tate Modern in London a couple of years ago.
