Palm House
Inside the Palm House from yesterday's post you will find the large specimen trees belonging to the conservatory including these banana trees with long branches of fruit ready to ripen. Just over the left side of the man's head a grand piano is visible - what a great place for a recital!
It loos like a tropical paradise.
ReplyDeleteVery tropical, and not a flake of snow in sight!
ReplyDeleteHow cool to see a banana tree in the middle of winter!
ReplyDeletewhat great foliage to get lost in!
ReplyDeleteA lovely location, and an odd one for a piano!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect, I can just imagine a recital there. I recognize just about every plant there Pat :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI could spend hours in there. Make it days if it were snowing outside.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine a better place to spend some time during the cold months. We had banana trees on a golf course in south Florida. Other golfers usually beat me to them, though. I didn't think that was very nice, or considerate! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling frightfully warm all of a sudden! :-) Yes, a recital would be magical there.
ReplyDeleteBack in the mid 1960s I drove the streetcar past Allan Gardens so many times but I never paid a visit there. Thanks to you I now know what I am missing. PS: On these cold days it is wise of you photograph indoors.
ReplyDeletePlants like that are plentiful down here. And we don't have to put them inside.
ReplyDeleteDyed red hair, eh? One more smidgeon of information . . .
Beautiful looking greenery.
ReplyDeleteThe greenery is startling compared to the snow outside.
ReplyDeleteThis is an upbeat shot for the dead of winter.
ReplyDeletePrecious. It seems that spring came!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend ;)
Isn't it amazing that bananas actually ripen in there?
