It was just before sunset when I took this pic and I was hoping for some colour in the winter sky but had no luck. There was just a hint of pink as the sky turned dark and the snow-covered roofs disappeared into the night.
I like seeing the clouds and sky through the bare branches of the trees. Most of our trees keep at least some of their leaves throughout the winter here.
Gorgeous winter shot.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful close of day image, time to draw the curtains and cosy down for the evening!
ReplyDeletesoft and still winter.
ReplyDeleteIt's still a nice shot and there's just enough color to offer some hope for the future! :)
ReplyDeleteThis time of year we might all just shoot b&w photos. I do like the muted tones in your picture.

ReplyDeleteWe don't get much colour either, but I love everything covered in snow.
