The philosophy of Calvin & Hobbes as found on a fence along Graffiti Lane near the cold elephant from Monday's post. There always seemed to be words of wisdom in that comic strip! Taking part in Signs, Signs. Click here for more signs.
The two characters have been my favorites for years. Interestingly, I've found that time seems to go faster and I have less of it now that I've retired! Go figure!
I miss that strip, but the cartoonist decided to go out on a winning streak and not overstay things (Hi and Lois, Family Circus, I'm looking at you)...
oh, amen to that! :)
ReplyDeleteWe all need to stop and smell the roses but we rarely do...

ReplyDeleteWise words, I totally agree with this quote! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm retired. When I get up in the morning I have nothing to do. By the time the day is over I have half of it done.
ReplyDeleteA great 'likeness' of the original series.

It seems funny but it is very true.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's true, sometimes it isn't... Cool find though!

ReplyDeleteThe great philosophers of our time.

I thought this would no longer be true once I retired, but now I find that it is even more true than ever.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter absolutely loved Calvin & Hobbes. I haven't thought about them since she moved out of the house, until today.
