Imagine having a huge chocolate factory right in your neighbourhood. That is the case with the Cadbury factory which is in the Dundas & College St area in Little Portugal. The factory is nestled among the houses and the rich smell of chocolate wafts through the air. I was by last week and caught this pic of the entrance to the Cadbury Museum & Tour Centre and thought I would be able to go in and find the answer to the old question - "How do they get the caramel into the Caramilk bar?" - but it was closed! Loved their caramel question mark!

Wonderful! But what a torture. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Luis .. Exquisite torture :) I'm not sure I even want to know how they get the caramel in I'm just happy that they do :)
ReplyDeleteVery tempting!
ReplyDeleteThere is no question about it, Cadbury chocolate is delicious.
ReplyDeleteHow disappointing, I would have cried!
ReplyDeletemakes me crave it!
ReplyDeleteCool title! :-) Love Cadbury chocolat.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Still keep some vintage tin boxes.
ReplyDeleteI went to school just a few miles form one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in the world. On those days when the wind came from that direction, the aroma was heavenly. But when the winds shifted . . . well, let's just say that the area also was known for its dairy farms. :>)
ReplyDeleteTempting. And so inviting.
ReplyDeleteOh no no no, that wouldn't do at all! :-) Way too tempting!
ReplyDeleteLove this - so succinct!
ReplyDeletewhen it comes to chocolates, whatever the question the answer is always: YES I WANT SOME CHOCOLATE :)
ReplyDeletefrankly my dear
I've been eating too much chocolate recently - stop putting temptation in my way!
ReplyDeleteI've been to the Cadbury factory in Tasmania, Australia and they showed us a lot of the processes in the tour.
ReplyDeleteCadbury makes good chocolate, and I would be tempted living in the neighborhood. At least you can go back when they are open,
ReplyDeleteGreat sign. I bet it does smell good around there.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is always going to be "there is no such thing as too much chocolate."
ReplyDeleteOh my! You must go back when they are open. I just finished off my last Cadbury Creme egg from Easter yesterday.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would not be able to handle the temptation! (Nor would my spouse!)

ReplyDeleteThis must be a popular place. The smell of chocolate in the air? Mmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI used to live near a chocolate factory. I considered it exquisite torture at times!
ReplyDeleteI toured the Cadbury complex in Tasmania where I had the opportunity to sample chocolate in every room. And there were many rooms. I was warned that I would not be able to face chocolate again for awhile after seeing so much. The advice was wrong.
ReplyDeleteYum! I always think chocolate tastes different in other countries - not sure why!
ReplyDeleteAnother Toronto spot I have never investigated! What have I been thinking??!
ReplyDeleteThe smell is so heavenly in that neck of the woods :)
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh. I assume you'll try to visit it again when open, What a place to live. And love the sign.
