This is a community garden where everyone works together keeping all the plants healthy and then sharing the results, rather than an allotment garden which is divided up into individual plots. No one was working when I passed by but the beds all looked well-maintained and I think they are going to have a good crop if our weather warms up a bit!

ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea. Allotment holders where some friends of mine garden have grouped together to run one plot as a community garden.
ReplyDeleteCommunity gardens is such a great idea. Cities can provide garden space for many people who want to grow their own food and flowers.

A n ce permanent sign, so it must be a successful garden! I wish we had something similar here - our small back yard is not suitable for much veggie gardening.
