OLPH

This fine church is Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church located on St Clair Ave E. I have often admired it and finally stopped for some pics when the traffic wasn't too heavy and I could get a shot with no vehicles going by. It was designed by architect J Gibb Morton and built in 1930 in Neo-Romaesque style with a Byzantine flavour. Bells were to be installed in the tower but have yet to appear!

  5. Bells are quite expensive, so are often not added until the money can be raised. Interesting style church.

  11. Beautiful entrance into the building. And WOW! No cars. The church may never install bells as too many modern humans find the sound offensive. (Personally, I don't get it!)
