I spotted this sign on Bay St which is one of our busiest downtown streets. It was positioned in one of several very long garden areas that have had mature trees and shrubs installed right along the roadway. What makes these areas different is that deep tree trenches have been dug and special drains placed to run storm water down to the tree roots. Most of the trees planted along the sidewalks don't fare very well because of a lack of root space and not enough water so these ones should flourish.
