Underpass Art Two B
This is the back of yesterday's painted support column and shows a bit of the neighbourhood, Corktown, in the houses and also references the nearby expressways and the downtown skyline. Seems suitable since the whole installation of the four support is titled "Frozen Memories". I'll show the third support next Monday as part of Monday Murals.
This one is wonderful Pat. I like the skyline.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Luis - the skyline is impressive and especially the train rounding the corner!
ReplyDeleteLove the way they painted the pipes as well and the object that stcks out
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done. All that color really stands out.
ReplyDeletei like this one very much!
ReplyDeleteMuch better today. Yesterday's was a bit creepy.
ReplyDeleteI guess the pyramidical one must be a bit exaggerated- I can't recall a building like that off hand in Toronto.
ReplyDeleteThe eyes across the road, above the van, startled me for a moment!
ReplyDeleteA great series, and I really like this one!
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteShowing the new skyline with a wall of glass condos the new streetcar (which I've yet to ride, but hope to, one day)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Including the angle you chose.
ReplyDeleteI think I like this side better!

ReplyDeleteNice shot of this artwork!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice seeing the skyline in this one. Again, I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThey camouflaged the massive supports into different planes and places. Should be done everywhere!
