This is Our Lady Help of Christians, Slovenian, a Catholic church located downtown that was built by the Slovenian community in 1954. It has such lovely proportions and I really like that spire that seems so 50s-like in style. Sorry about all the wires but they are everywhere!

I like the use of bricks to create an accent in the facade. Very simple building but nice.
ReplyDeleteThe local catholic church to me is a 1940's conversion, only the front is original and dates back to the 1700's

It does have a 1950's look to it! I didn't even notice the wires until you said something. I guess I'm so used to seeing them.
