A Vintage Fence

I spotted this fence in front of one of the old houses on St George St that have been incorporated into U of Toronto for use as various administration offices. This house was built in 1888 and the fence looks like it could have been from the same period!

  1. This is one place where you could "fence me in." Nice. I think I should have gone to the U of Toronto.

  7. That would be one well maintained fence if it is from the period.

  9. Incredible design, I'm betting it is that old as well. They don't make many like that anymore!

  11. I've never understood why anyone would dream of a 'white picket fence' when something as gorgeous as this is an option.

  21. The fence, yes. But both the houses, too (minus the a/c unit). And that Gothic door.
