Foundry Entrance
This is the other end of the Foundry Lofts where the main entrance is. Because of the drop of the grade at this end we have an extra storey which provides the complex with underground parking as well as huge expanses of glass to let the sun shine into the atrium. I must try to tour one of the lofts when one comes up for sale!
It would be fun to see the inside! It reminds me a a place in St. Paul, called Bandana Square, an old train station years ago. Last I knew they had shops and other business throughout the building.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking this place would be dark and dank, but there are so many windows I'm guessing it's rather bright and cheery. Take us along when you tour a loft!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see these old industrial buildings having a second life.
ReplyDeleteYes, rebirth is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI like this place. It would be interesting to see what one of the lofts looked like inside.
ReplyDeletereally cool looking.
ReplyDeleteIt's an impressive building. I'd like to explore the new apartments.
ReplyDeleteI really like the style of the building.
ReplyDeleteThis side still need a bit of work, but I am really impressed...
ReplyDeleteOh yes, please do! This is going to be fantastic. It'll need a few flowers too, though I don't know where with the way the windows open!
ReplyDeleteOh yes do try for a peek inside, I'd love to live in an old factory...
ReplyDeleteAwesome building.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that rather than demolish the building it is being converted in to livable units. I think this one is located on Lansdowne Ave.
ReplyDeleteLooks fascinating, Pat. I'm intrigued to see the interior!
ReplyDeleteGeez, this is a big building. How great they decided to reuse it rather than demolish?
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well, RedPat!
Yes it would be really interesting to see inside Pat, will look forward to that.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it's very light and airy inside!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do get to see one of the lofts!
