The Vessel Revisited
I first showed this sculpture called The Vessel back in April of 2012 (HERE) and it looked rather stark sitting in the park at that time of year. I passed by recently and thought that it looks a lot more interesting when viewed from across the road with trees and greenery surrounding it.
So there's the oil. Where's the vinegar? :-)
ReplyDeletei guess it has 'settled in'. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this would be a fun place to do some humorous photo shoots!
ReplyDeleteGreat scenery.
ReplyDeleteRevrunner has a point here...
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the biggest vases (vessels) I've seen. And that name of Taddle Creek Park is amusing. I could see "Paddle Creek Park," assuming there's a creek and you could go up the creek with a paddle... Just kidding. Love the sunlight in this shot.
ReplyDeleteIt does look very appealing surrounded by all that green.
ReplyDeleteIt does make for a good photo subject... and amusing, too!
ReplyDeletelooks way more inviting now
ReplyDeleteYep, sure does look different now!
ReplyDeleteIt does look nicer with all the green around.
ReplyDeleteYou're right (and that's coming from a winter lover!)
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure that i like it. :(
ReplyDeleteinteresting scenery
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! This picture does make it look better.
ReplyDeleteinteresting.....
ReplyDeleteSo many meanings and feelings to the word!

Fill it with wine!
ReplyDeleteThat is cool!
ReplyDeleteThe area has certainly 'developed' around it!
ReplyDeleteWHAT the heck is it? Why, why, why?????
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember liking it back then Pat and yes, even better now that nature has grown up around, is it still a working water feature?
