Feeder Stream

The opposite side of the goose pond from yesterday's shot shows the stream that feeds the pond. It runs through the manicured part of the park and drains a couple of smaller ponds up the hill. It's a beautiful park to wander about in or sit and read a book on a hot day since there always seems to be a breeze. The geese have all disappeared to somewhere!

  2. Enjoyed all your posts of this lovely park (catching up , I scrolled down). Maybe your geese have flown to Oregon, we have a lot of them.

  4. All our geese left about a month ago. I just assumed they were off to Canada.

  6. A truly idyllic site...I suspect the geese are somewhere here in Florida messing our green grass! :)

  9. Beautiful shot. The geese are likely off teaching their fledglings to fly long distances. Looks like the geese dominate the park in some seasons.

  10. The geese are molting this time of year and because of that, they can't fly for a while.

  11. That park looks idyllic. I'm sure the geese have been kidnapped by aliens. But their absence will give the ground a chance to recover!
