Tiled Roof
I just liked the look of this house that is in the Forest Hill neighbourhood. We don't often see homes here with tiled roofs and I wouldn't be surprised if they are actually some type of metal rather than the terra cotta you find in Europe.
how pretty, although i'd not want that kind of roof. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice building, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteI bet you're right. Metal works!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNow in Europe it is also made from metal. But it looks fashionable
ReplyDeleteIn fact we still have a lot of old-fashioned tiled roofs, but rarely in more recent buildings.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of this house!
ReplyDeleteThey are very rare here.
ReplyDeleteIt does look very different, huge chimney stack too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home! We see a lot of red tile here in S CA, on all different style of homes. Can't beat the way they look on spanish-stucco style homes.
ReplyDeleteIt does look rather surprising now that you say it. Nice though!
ReplyDeleteA very attractive roofing material.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home.
ReplyDeleteI do like this house as well, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. We have some houses with tiles roofs and they are all lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt looks metallic to me. This type of roof is becoming quite popular on old farm houses up here in rural York Region and also nearby Durham Region. Apparently they last a long time and shed snow well.
