Another Conversion

This century old building had been a Baptist church until the 1970s and then had other uses until finally being purchased by a developer who seems to have done a nice job of dividing it into 5 lofts each of which is quite large. It is located just off Yonge St in the toney Rosedale neighbourhood so the lofts sell for a lot of money when they become available.

  4. Well, I'm glad to see that it was put to something useful. I, too, would like to see one of the lofts. It's certainly an impressive building and probably impervious to inclement weather.

  11. I find it sad that a beautiful church ends up as apartments. But at least they didn't pull it down and I suppose the developer has done it 'sympathetically'.
