A Bloor St Fence

This fence is located on Bloor St at the entrance into Philosophers Walk which I will show you tomorrow. In the background you can see the "Crystal" addition to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) which I have shown you several times. The fence itself is said to be from the early 1900s.

  6. It is a fancy fence and quite attractive. But I'm more interested in the "Crystal" addition to the museum and the Philosopher's Walk. So, I shall return tomorrow.

  8. That beautiful, old fence doesn't fit very well with the contemporary building behind it. Fine shot.

  15. You have a funny mix of stuff here, RedPat. The solid stone columns, the frilly ironwork of the fence, and the stark modernity of the building beyond.

  19. Absolutely love the old ornate fence, how wonderful that it's survived so long and in good shape by the look of it. The mix of old and new is perfect here, fab composition Pat.
