"Businessman On Horse"
I showed you this sculpture back in 2010 but thought I would try for new image with different lighting. You can see the other one if you click on the McElcheron label below. It is one of many from William McElcheran's Businessman series.
Very nice! He looks like he's relaxing and enjoying the day!
ReplyDeleteI think he looks exhausted. It must have been a busy day. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice statue, but from this angle he looks a bit tired...
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why but this sculpture made me smile Pat, I like it a lot :)
ReplyDeleteJust like Grace, the moment I saw the sculpture it brought a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteHe's either trying for an "imperial" look or he's falling asleep and will soon fall off the horse!
ReplyDeleteI do love his "Businessman" series. These are such wonderful statues.
ReplyDeleteIt is an amazing series!
ReplyDeleteBIG hose, small rider--well, relatively small. :-)
ReplyDeleteHero for our times? LOL

Oooh, this is different and I like it!
ReplyDeleteA really great statue!
ReplyDeleteHe looks to me to be taking a wee nap there before taking off again. Nice sculpture.
ReplyDeleteHe does look tired!
ReplyDeleteI love love love this sculpture and the whole businessman series. I saw a pair of standing businessmen outside a gallery in Naples a few years ago. (Must check my blog to see if I showed them.) Did I mention that I love the sculpture?
ReplyDeleteYou know I love "That Guy" sightings!
ReplyDeleteI like McElcheran's businessman sculpture icons. It's all new to me.
ReplyDeletePeculiar and whimsical!
ReplyDeleteThat businessman has a strange relationship with the horse. He is rather a great horseman or he has no idea where he is going as he has no bridle or saddle to control the horse. Interesting statue.
ReplyDeleteDrunk?
