A Winter Walkway?

This is what most of our winter has been like this year - very little snow and any that we have had has melted in a couple of days. Very strange. This is one of the many paths that run through High Park which is one of the largest parks in the city and has lots of amenities - skating rinks, tennis courts, pool, restaurant, gardens, off-lesh dog areas, etc.

  1. Looks like a wonderful place for a hike! Funny how half the world had such an easy winter and the other half, not so much! My friend in Oregon got 80% more snow than we did and it's usually the other way around!

  6. What a lovely avenue of tall trees Pat. How anyone can still think global warming is not a fact has their head in the sand don't you think?

  7. It makes me think of Hampstead Heath in London. Another vast, sprawling park with all kinds of trails.

  9. Very peaceful. Here it took awhile before winter really got started, and we've got quite a lot of it on the ground now.
