I happened upon this cool sign on Bloor St in the Kingsway neighborhood and love the deco look of the stonework. I would like to see the neon lit up but am never out that way after dark - it may be worth a trip!

That's funny because we never seem to be out to get signs lit up either.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the place too.
ReplyDeleteGreat deco building and fun sign, though I don't think a crooked cue is helpful in billiards!
ReplyDeleteIt seems there are two cool signs - the Crooked Cue and the Billiards. Intriguing, for sure. I'd go check it out but I'm kinda behind the 8 ball here in Ocala. (I have no idea what that means.)
ReplyDeleteI wonder why the cue is crooked. :))
ReplyDeletelove the art deco!
ReplyDeleteI might play better with a crooked cue!
ReplyDeleteneat name.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it might be a small place - but I'm betting it is much bigger on the inside!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good find. I think we both need to go out at night with our cameras
ReplyDeletedeco architecture and furniture is my favorite. I don't go out at night if I can help it, but something like this sign might be worth venturing out.
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice of name. I am think the building might have been a movie theater at one time.
ReplyDeleteGreat sign and handsome building.
ReplyDeleteFrankly My Dear
Looks intetesting
ReplyDeleteA nice bright sign. I am lazy for getting night time lit up signs. Once Dinner's eaten & I sit down that's usually where I stay.
ReplyDeleteAnd is it still a billiards hall?
ReplyDeleteNice look, but a strange name :)
ReplyDeleteI was inspired. I took my camera around town & got some great photos of lit up signs!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat font, colour and design on that logo.
ReplyDeleteI like it too, very creative!
ReplyDeleteCrooked cue. Sounds like one of our national political debates.
ReplyDeleteGreat
ReplyDeleteIt's been a lot of years since I've been to the Crooked Cue!
