These columns mark the entrance to the Manufacturers Life Insurance Co building on Bloor St E - I showed the lawn out front a week ago! Quite stately aren't they?
The classical Doric columns set stately grandeur for the building. These were religious buildings for the Greeks, and now they are temples to money and wealth.
Definitely from an era when things were more classy.
