Old Weston

Weston is a neighbourhood in the north-west part of Toronto and was a small town that became engulfed by the big city. You can still find many of the old large homes from the original town such as this, most have been restored. For some reason it is still a relatively affordable area in our crazy real estate market.

  1. That is pretty amazing Pat, you would think a house like this would double in price when reclassified as almost inner city. Hope lots of young families take advantage of it before it changes..

  2. A home with a porch is always so appealing. Hope the real estate prices hold rather than escalate there.

  3. I do like this. I just need to know your definition of "relatively affordable" before we pack up and move... :)

  7. That is a fine looking brick house. Looks solid, and comfortable. Affordable housing is becoming rare almost everywhere. I'm going to a conference on affordable hosing next week.

  10. Pretty far north, I think. But if Trump whens, I still might consider it. :-)
