Up High
The Goodyear Blimp was in town last week for the first time in 10 years. It was here to provide coverage of the World Cup of Hockey tournament and also the crucial baseball games that took place last week. Our ball park is right beside the CN Tower so the blimp spent a lot of time circling around the tower. This pic was taken from about 5 miles away so pardon the wires and traffic lights.
It visited her a few years ago for the Ryder Cup.
ReplyDeleteHello, neat sighting of the blimp. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI was out driving when I spotted it maneuvering about. I was hoping it was a UFO.
ReplyDeletePS: Never worry about the wires.
Nice capture there Pat, it's impossible to escape overhead wires these days 😊
ReplyDeleteA brilliant day to spot the Blimp!
ReplyDeleteYou got a darn good shot from being so far away. But I can't help wonder: are there such things as "crucial baseball games"? 🤑
ReplyDeleteHeard of the blimp but never saw it. Wires can be interesting in a photo. I use to hate them but now I just don't care.
ReplyDeleteThe tower and blimp seem to suit each other.
ReplyDeletelooks like the needle is trying to pop the balloon.
ReplyDeleteHa! Tex took the words right out of my keyboard. . . again! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! It almost looks like it could get pierced by the CN Tower. :P
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Pat !
ReplyDeleteLooks as if it is hanging from the wire! I certainly hope that's not so ;>)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool Toronto picture exclamation point
ReplyDeleteBien pilladooo !!!
