Stone Walls

I spotted these lovely stone retaining walls when walking through one of the ravines along the Humber River. The river is a great source of stones like this so I'm sure they were all locally sourced many years ago when a house stood in this part of the ravine.

  8. Certainly built to last.

Regarding your comment, the Victims of Communism monument that Harper had in mind got derailed by court proceedings, and pretty much shelved by the election. If it's ever erected, it'll be a whole lot smaller, far less draconian, and in a completely different location.
