A lot of the Business Improvement Associations (BIA) around the city have installed banners similar to these in an attempt to draw attention to their neighbourhood. This one, Regal Heights, is found along St Clair Ave W and you can see the typical commercial buildings in the background as well as one of our streetcars.

ReplyDeleteWe seem to have flags announcing events everywhere these days ☺ I was just reading about your streetcars Pat, apparently the largest and busiest light rail system in North America.. I think they really add to the city street scenes. Do you use them often?
ReplyDeleteHartford and West Hartford have banners all over the joint. I think I usually navigate so they aren't in my pix. I wonder why I do that?
